FeedWeaver is a special online web feed aggregator to help you get all the feeds and contents you want in one single place.

You defined a collection of web feeds and (optionally) some filters to include or exclude certain contents. Base on this, FeedWeaver will compile all the relevant contents and present them in one unified webpage. The results are also available as an RSS 2.0 feed, so you can have one feed to rule them all.

Origin

This is a new project that I’ve started in August 2007, primarily because I am tired of tracking so many feeds, and there are too many random contents that I don’t want to see. I’ve been using Google Reader, but it does not have content filtering and other features that I wanted.

Project Details

  • Current status: Alpha 1
  • Supported feeds: RSS (2.0, 1.0, 0.9x) and Atom (1.0, 0.3) and others
  • Powered by SimplePie web feed parser

Planned Features

  • Multiple collections
  • Feed source and filter preview
  • Multiple users
  • Result caching

Demo

… is totally broken right now :’(

You can see the latest version in action here.

The current collection is Alan’s anime watch list, which gathers all the latest episodes of interested series. Right now FeedWeaver only support one built-in collection.
